Great Journey 🏍🏍 Day 30
We leave Austria, right at the border triangle with Italy and Slovenia. At home (where actually?) we still have the Slovenia travel guide, the Slovenia novels have already been read and are somewhere on a book exchange shelf at some campsite. Slovenia refuses us entry, even though we haven't been to the "oh-so-dangerous" Switzerland for over 4 weeks now. Slovenia, we'll come visit you someday, for sure!
Today we are going to Italy for the first time. We'll probably be staying here for a while. Yes! Uh, Si! Of course we've been to Italy many times before, it wasn't that far away from us. But now we have time! Lots of time. We'll visit Trieste, spend a while in probably empty Venice and if all goes well, visit a language school in Bologna (or see where). So it will be a bit more than "Si certo", "Grazie" and "Buona notte". We want to go all the way to Sicily. Oh, that will be nice. I just say: tiramisu, zabaione, profiterole and always caffè ️ (There is no espresso emoji...).
