I decide not to take the northern route of the Swiss Grand Tour. Even though the "Grand Canyon" of Switzerland would be very appealing to me. But I'm even more tempted by temperatures above zero and the prospect of travelling on without rain.
So I take the route via Italy and continue along Lake Como to Lugano (in Switzerland again). Here my plan for the day ends abruptly. I wanted to get a room here by the lake in the Ticino sun. But I soon realise that I am not so comfortable here. Likewise in Locarno, where I have another espresso and realise that Locarno is not my cup of tea today either. I don't like many people now, but nature. Lots of nature. And finally some walking. I miss the exercise. (I never thought I'd say that...)
