Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 566
Work break. In Skärhamn we park Felix directly in the harbour on the very wide quay wall. Young people meet here, whose heavy cars make our Felix pale for a moment in terms of shine, horsepower and most likely price, and we think to ourselves that this is just the right place for our Monday-Tuesday work week.
Sunset on the left, sunrise on the right. Even the young people have to go to bed at some point and bring their cars home. As clean as they are, I'm sure they stand in the garage at night. The cars, that is. Before they leave us, however, we get to know the latest music - loud, of course - that "one" likes to listen to at the moment. Including a minute-long, high-horsepower engine roar. That's youth, and we're in the front row!
Felix is a little bit embarrassed, but we give him a good talking to. He is built for something better, he is our house, our home, our kitchen and our nest. And he, in return, stops working on the charge booster. Just at the right time: the sun finally manages to shine on our solar panels and thus charge our battery.
In Skärhamn itself, right next to us, there is another art museum. And we feel an acute unwillingness to go to museums when the weather calls for outdoor activities. In the end, however, we just sit in the sun, watch a water plane take off and watch the sunset spectacle in slow motion. And walk a little over the archipelago. Life-work balance, you know.
