Great Journey 🏍🏍 Day 3

Today we had History Light. In Marburg, we walked up to the castle (which was of course - as early as we were up there - still closed) and straight back down again. Workout for today:

Then we drive through the countryside. The Ministry of Roads doesn't give a damn about our route planning and leads us from one diversions to the next. So at least we see something of the country and get to know the smallest villages. Nice, by the way. And thanks to the many trucks that push their way through the villages with us, it's also a comfortable drive.

We drive on through the Weserbergland. But we can only see it through the visor - it's raining cats and dogs. Not nice. But so what, after all we don't want to start complaining on day 3. But camping is out of the question today, it's barrel night. We find a small barrel to sleep in in Hameln. However, I'm not sure yet whether my husband will fit in lengthwise. Maybe his feet will have to look out of the window. We'll know soon enough.

1st supplement by the proofreader: 2 hours with coffee & cake, of course only to let the clothes dry.
2nd addendum: Why did we get wet? Because I didn't want to stop for the rain gear, still nibbling on the aftermath of yesterday's move.
