Spain - We can't get enough of naturism - or not enough?

We don't get enough of naturism - or not enough?

We are woken up by the sounds of nature. The first birds make music and the sun emerges from behind the mountains. It's not shining yet, but it lights up the place. We get up at half past seven, do a tiny cat wash, take down our tent and saddle up Felix. Shortly after 8 we sit on our moto and ride into the sunrise. It looks beautiful, the mountains are still a bit foggy and the sun is making its way through. We enjoy the curves. It is Sunday morning and not much is going on. We pass a few joggers and one or two cyclists. Otherwise just nature and us. It could go on like this for hours at around 24 degrees. But it doesn't, because our destination is Valencia. We arrive here at half past nine and ride through an almost empty city, apparently Valencia is still asleep at this time. We look for a breakfast place on the beach and eat, as always, toasts with a view of palm trees, beach and sea.

Gerd wants to continue north. So we get back on our Felix and continue. Unfortunately, the next hour is dominated by motorway driving. Sea on the right, mountains on the left. Both tempt me more than this motorway. But the idea of doing some distance now and then spending two nights in one place also appeals to me. So on we go, always heading north. Barcelona is already signposted. Gerd wants to go at least as far as Tarragona. Shortly before Tarragona I discover a nudist campsite, we are fans now, and we check in for 2 days.

Right by the sea, with a restaurant, supermarket and everything you need... We afford ourselves the luxury and rent a tent. It is called Eden. Well, we are far from Eden, but it has a kitchen, toilet and a cosy sitting area outside.

We move into our little house and make ourselves comfortable. I'm looking forward to cooking something for once. And at night I don't have to go far to the toilet, I have a bathroom in the tent. That's luxury.

But now first to the sea. The beach is apparently public, but it is also a nudist beach. So everyone is really naked here. And there are lots of people here. We put our towels in the sand and are already in the water. We drift for what feels like an eternity. Enjoy the waves, the water and the sun. And us. It is simply beautiful to drift in the water. Just the idea of how big this sea is and what a little fart we actually are makes me shudder. We jump into the waves, we dive under, we blink into the sun. We are just in the moment. God how beautiful!

Later we explore the campsite and jump into one of the pools. From the pool, lying in the water, you can look at the sea. Somehow very romantic. There are also Jacuzzis and whirlpools here. But they are too full or already closed.

No matter how, we are now a bit tired and want to eat something. Unfortunately, the supermarket is already closed, so we have to eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the paella doesn't taste as good as we expected. But no matter, we have a nice evening and after dinner we go down to the beach again. Dark night and only us on the beach. Well, not quite. But no matter. I want to jump into the waves. Gerd somehow doesn't. It's really dark here, whether we'll ever find our towels again is doubtful. In the end, everything turns out fine and we stroll across the campsite back to our Villa Eden.

The next morning, Gerd tells me that he couldn't fall asleep very well. I can't remember more than 2 seconds and I was fast asleep. The sounds are different again, but exciting. I don't hear anything about it until the next morning though, I was sooo deeply asleep.
