Two days of off-road training in Hechlingen. While I'm still lying flat (I'm feeling better now!) Gerd enjoys playing in the sand at 30° Celsius. First there are ballet-like exercises on the bike (which he doesn't like and says he doesn't do very well), then it's over gravel, sand and through mud. He drives the 1250 up and down the inclines, brakes on slopes, has to pick up his bike once or twice and once lies on his back next to the bike like a bug, all fours.
And in the evening? He comes to the hotel and beams like crazy! He is happy and above all amazed at what can be done with such a heavy machine.
