After a long and quite exhausting week in Berlin and Luxembourg, there just doesn't seem to be a good connection to Bern.
The flights are around 1,000 euros (Friday evening business passengers), the train wants me to change trains 6 times in 9 hours. Salvation: we meet in Nancy (Lorraine), from Bern about 300, from Luxembourg about 150 km.
This is my first time with @blablacar.de and I am thrilled. In Nancy we find a nice place to sleep and explore the city. And are surprised by wonderful French vegetarian haute cuisine and, for dessert, by the light and music show on Stanislas Square. This is how a week can end. Or a weekend can begin. #nancy

We are thinking about taking another break from travelling in the summer and visiting our families in Germany and Switzerland. One of the ideas is to organise a Lecture about our long journey to the Persian Gulf to prepare. If you would like to, what would interest you the most? We will also tell stories here that don't find a place here on the blog. We're thinking of the Bern and Berlin area - simply because we have family there. But other places are also conceivable.
