There they are, pawing with their hooves and wanting to go. As they do so, they are parked, roll only the shortest of laps and put their heads together, dreaming of discovering the world. They want to be loaded up and driven by people who are curious and eager to travel. Want to push the limits a little. Eating kilometres and scrubbing passes. Want to be the holder for tarp and clothesline at the best camp spots. Want to experience the great, exciting stories.
And they hope their keepers don't get even wussier and throw a rain tarp over them. They want to become dirty, mud-splattered and scratched rock stars.
They will do all that, they just have to wait a little longer. Just a little bit longer.
