Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 520
The good thing about our way of travelling: we don't really have destinations. When it suits us, we can travel back and forth three times because it's so beautiful. And that's exactly what we're doing today: just going back again. The sun is shining, the mood is good and the drone and camera are in their bags full of anticipation.

And then it is in front of us: the entire beauty of this patch of earth. Gerd sends the 'Dröhneli' into the air. I can only stand there, amazed. Winter. Glittering snow. Frozen sea. (Baltic Sea? Is that still called that up here?)

And then this sun. In the morning, shortly before noon, and it just won't go any higher. And gives us a light show par excellence.

While the pilot and the world-viewer just stand there, their - quite human - hands freeze into ice lumps. But it's good that we've taken precautions with hot tea: We share a cup. Not to drink, but to perform finger defrosting on the warm porcelain.

The most used items of our trip so far?
🫖 Thermos flask (for all situations: first tea!)
️ Coffee French press (for all situations in my life: coffee!)
🧹 Hand hoover (for house cleaning, takes about 30-45 seconds per day)
🥘 (Water) cooking pot for many more situations in life: coffee, tea, hot water bottle, oatmeal (no, we don't say porridge, we cook oatmeal!).
🕯 Candle incl. various non-functioning or only marginally functioning candle-fire-lighting devices
🪟 And for all the doubters: the windscreen squeegee. I clean the rear windows at every petrol station, only to greet the day in the morning with completely filthy windows.
