A wonderful Switzerland-holiday-friends-bike-trip comes to an end. For the first time we are on the road as a couple with tent ️ and stuff. The start begins with a flash of laughter until the tears run (photo). We gondola through Switzerland ?? to the Appenzell region. We hike ? for all we're worth. We give everything. Unfortunately not the weather. (Or maybe not...)

Today we go our separate ways. I wrap myself up in my rain suit and take the motorway ? and my dear friend takes the train home. At first it's a strange feeling to drive home alone. But with every kilometre in the pouring rain ?? I suddenly realise how much I like driving alone. How Malou and I make a good team. Once home, the family is waiting ❣️

I am delighted by all the laughter and the fit legs that carry me up and down ⛰. About the conversations and the silence. About the simplicity and straightforwardness of our journey ? . And last but not least, about the return, which each of us was able to experience to our liking. I am grateful for breakfast in bed ? and coffee à discrétion. For hiking ? in the rain ? and dancing in a thunderstorm ? For apéröle in the Aescher and böötle on Lake Lucerne. Thank you my dear for the time, the courage and for putting up with my hotel room chaos.
