We "celebrate" our Swiss birthday with the family, including our granddog "Zimtschnecke", in Appenzell. And: we're finally going camping!
The Swiss flag hanging on the mountain opposite (picture 4) is said to weigh 4 tonnes and is 80 metres long. We almost can't believe it. If there is a rain warning, it has to be rolled up quickly, otherwise it becomes too heavy and tears.
