Norway Tour ?? Day 7
Today it's rolling. We have breakfast, pack our now dry things onto the bikes and off we go. We wrap ourselves up - the weather forecast shows clouds and continuous rain. But somehow we don't care today. We want to roll. We ride along the coastal road, which is really visually challenging. After only a few kilometres, there is a diversion. One of the most beautiful diversions ever. Gerd stops to take pictures. Although the light conditions don't really allow for great pictures. But we don't care. I ride behind - as always - and can only marvel at how I enjoy riding my motorbike more and more every day. Even in the rain. Since I got the new front tyre, I have the feeling that rain doesn't bother me at all. Nothing slips.
The motorbike gear is waterproof, the shoes are warm. The heated grips make up for what the gloves don't do. I can't believe that we are having so much fun riding through Hobbit-land in the rain. The passes are a maximum of 250 m high, but we also start at -5 m in places. We are driving for all we're worth. Stopping. Astonishment. The rocks are washed round. A fjord or fjordlet hides behind every bend. Or a lake. Or a stony meadow with sheep. Or a great view of small colourful houses in cute little places.
Our eyes, our brains can't take in anything anymore. We agree to make a photo stop only at particularly beautiful places. We leave the "only" beautiful places to the left and right. That's what happens when you see too much of a good thing. Luxury problem.
