Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 570
In the meantime, we have adapted our travel destinations to our behaviour. (Realisation after 570 days. Not bad, right?)
We no longer travel from sight to sight but from award-winning pastry shop to award-winning pastry shop.
Food for the soul. (Somewhere I once read that food is the sex of old age. If that's the case, we're already looking forward to our old age and practising).
In Lund, a very charming little town, we are already awaited by rhubarb tarts and coconut tips in Broder Jakob's pastry shop. After an extended fika, we stroll through the sugary town. (Is perception actually impaired when you are full and happy?)
Residents tell us (after helping us pay the parking meter) about the church that lost its spires just yesterday. Their eyes sparkle as they tell us about the huge fuss the big crane made yesterday when it took the spires off and put them next to it.
If we weren't sick of cities (and Malmö and Copenhagen are still ahead of us!) we would have liked to stay a few days in this charming university town. So we stock up on some sweets in Broder Jakobs and set off in search of a quiet and sunny pitch with a view.
