Great Journey 🇨🇭 Day 462
"Well, I could cook something for us tomorrow!"
Therese wants to cook for us, after all we work on Mondays. We don't say no and look forward to the evening together.
We are now hosting space for the second time. Good decision to have 4 seats in the van. We turn on the heating, fill pots with tea, spread out blankets like real mountain inns (the cold from the footwell in the driver's cabin is so semi-cool in winter) and wait for visitors, including for the night.
There is a knock at the door (we need äs Lüti for the reception in the "Salon de Felix") and the fondue is already on the turn-out table. The establishment is filled to capacity. Business is good.
The cheese is eaten, the kirsch sunk and stories from the old days shared. Last but not least, we listen to the Schwyzerörgeli, sway to Ländlermusig and think that this was a very excellent Appenzell mountain pub evening.
Thank you, you wonderful friends (@ulrich.therese & @thebartli) for being with us. Thank you for the dinner and the magical music! And thank you for all of us standing together in the campsite kitchen afterwards and washing our dishes.
Only the cheese-ge..., er, the cheese smell, it's stuck with us at Felix. The guests climb into their own camper, they probably have fresher air.
