While people in our circle of acquaintances always smile about the fact that we go to a small AHV ski resort (for those who don't know what AHV means: pensioners!), I was able to completely impress two snow-hiking almost-newbies with it: Adelboden. And the coolest thing was: the season hadn't actually opened yet, only a few pistes were groomed, so we had a clear path for hiking. And sliding. And skiing.
