Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 572
Malmö. We wanted to skip it and what would we have missed! The outer districts are already very industrial, but the small, old city centre has it all. We park Felix at the station and stroll through the old town.
Narrow streets, crooked half-timbered houses and the confectioneries we love. Malmö can offer all that. Even more, of course. Beautiful churches (St. Petri Kyrka), a terminus station, great architecture and a "Turning Torso", a high-rise building in the harbour, where the architect might have had too much high-proof alcohol while planning.
After a few hours of power city strolling, we find ourselves in Felix and really leaving Sweden for the time being.
What a great country, what wonderful memories we will associate with Sweden. The numerous overnight stays in small harbours, the romantic campsites along both coasts, the wintry (really wintry!) conditions up in Lapland and the cosiness here in the whole country!
Thank you, Sweden!
