The heroic story (to the same picture)

A white flying dragon the size of a man is worried. His grandchildren hardly have anything to eat because of the lack of tourists. Visitors to Venice are not allowed to feed seagulls or pigeons, the crumb disposal works wonderfully. And the few tourists who come to the lagoon city in 2020 behave according to the rules.

How is the grandfather supposed to satisfy the grandchildren's desire for sweets when everything is different in 2020? He is sitting on a balcony parapet, the plaster is already peeling off and only a few gondollieri are stagnating in the lagoon below him.

Suddenly a ray of hope. She is walking on the bridge. Dreamy, a little tired and completely lost in the pleasure of her nocciolata merengue.

Oh yes, nocciolata merengue are his grandchildren's favourite sweets too. What a moment they would be happy! And then he decides quickly. Pushes himself off the crumbling plaster, swings himself up and heads for the paper bag with the thing of desire. For that moment he forgets that there is a girl there who loves eating nocciolata merengue as much as his grandchildren gulls. For a moment he is a grandfather and already sees the sparkle in the eyes of his loved ones. For that moment he is the hero of his children and grandchildren.

He glides over the bridge unobserved, grabs a big chunk of the nocciolata merengue and immediately flies away. Leaving the scream and the irritation behind, he has eyes only for his grandchild gulls.

You have come up with an enchanting story to compensate for your soooo great loss - but you were happy to put up with it for the seagull's grandchildren - weren't you?
Thank you for sharing this beautiful story + the amazing photos of Venice.... Kisses from autumnal Petershagen from your Babsi
