Great Journey 🇨🇭& Day 436
We're not big on making plans. And because certain people in our family know that, we were planned externally.
We get to go to Bavaria for a few days, play with our granddog, spoil him, "educate" him far too much with treats and reset him to factory settings. The things that grandparents can do so wonderfully.
The journey - our maiden voyage - takes us through the foggy Bern region to sunny Baselland. Here we crawl with our nameless home high up into the mountains, stop and really get to grind for the first time. Let the sun shine in our house and on our faces.
We stand completely crooked and learn the first lesson: you can't have fried eggs if you stand crooked. Without further ado, we change the menu and make scrambled eggs. We pull out all the stops of breakfast gastronomy and quickly realise that this leads to a lot of washing up. Another lesson learned. From tomorrow, we'll have a minimalist breakfast with one cup and one cereal bowl each. And we'll find out whether the tablecloth always has to be there.
But the best thing is: we will remember this moment here forever. Our dear friend accompanies us to Germany, we enjoy the time together as a threesome with zMorgen and washing up. With the journey together, loud pop music (two out of three travellers enjoy it very much) and tea from the on-board service, the eternally long journey does not pass more quickly, but it is more beautiful ❣️🚐❣️
