Back in England, we enjoy music and castles here too. A shipwreck and the longest place name in the world (?) attract our attention and we come into contact with a narrow-gauge railway and the devil. We round it all off with the softness of wool.
The places we visited and, above all, the experiences we talked about:
- Liverpool with the Beatles
- RNLI sea rescue and an open day
- Start in Wales with Gladstone's Library
- Visit to a shipwreck
- Penrin Castle with railway museum
- Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
- Snowdonia National Park, SUPing on the mountain lake and the Fairy Glen walk
- Portmeirion, a small town to linger in
- Narrow-gauge railway from Abreystwyth
- Swansea & the National Wool Museum
