Grand Tour - Ireland - Day 710
The roadsides are simply magnificent here. Everything is in bloom. Gerd is immediately convinced that with so many street flowers we don't need a car bouquet.
Of course I see it differently and react with the argument that always works: "You're not romantic at all. It's not going to work out between us!
So when we are on our way back from some castle ruins, he pulls out his Swiss army knife and I can pick (cut?) as many flowers as I like. The small bouquet is then placed on the table in the evening and during longer breaks ("Heike, is this a romantic break now?"), otherwise in the drink holder.
We both have to put up with the fact that it partially covers the navigation system. For the romance, of course, right?
By the way, the bouquets in Scotland were rather white and green, here they are colourful: orange, purple, yellow, blue, white. Everything is there! Hach, Watt schön!
PS.: Even when we're on the phone with Daheim, we make it pretty and put the girlfriend with the flowers, for example. She doesn't get anything out of it, but we do. And yes, I have unsharpened the display for publication, on purpose.

We are thinking about taking another break from travelling in the summer and visiting our families in Germany and Switzerland. One of the ideas is to organise a Lecture about our long journey to the Persian Gulf to prepare. If you would like to, what would interest you the most?
