There was once a young woman with a brand new driving licence and a bunch of family members in the car. And on the advice of her mum, she drove into this very street. The fact that the width of the road was more than 40 cm less than the width of the car was probably less important to the wise, grown-up mum who gave the advice. And when the car and 5 people got stuck in this very road (do I have to mention that it was high summer in Italy and the air conditioning was defective?), the young newcomer proved to be a professional in calmness, composure and perseverance. After what felt like an eternity and hundreds of back-and-forth manoeuvres, we were out of there! Thank you most wonderful of daughters! And once again I know that we can learn more from the children than they can from us.
