Greece - Malou in the sand

Greece - Malou in the sand

Great Journey 🏍 Day 105
"Drive over there, it'll make a great photo!" I say to him. He, a wish-fulfilling husband, does so. And we land in the fluffy sand, the beach.

Our Malou looks fantastic in the sand, with the wheels sunk in. Photogenic yes, but unfortunately no longer mobile. Malou is stubborn and doesn't move a single wheel turn.

What we don't notice at first is that there is the only café opposite. And right now the village community meets here for a "coffee-to-stand-around" because the cafés are not allowed to set up tables at the moment. And we, all tourists, provide the entertainment as we tug and push Malou. I start smiling, shy as a deer, in the direction of strong men, hoping for effect.

Smiling mildly, two of the spectators come over to us, put their jumpers over their mouths and a bit of their noses and help us. A short time later, everyone is happy: Malou is back on solid ground, the gentlemen have been able to polish up their karma account and we have bought a late breakfast from the café. Enjoying the Greek coffee with a view of the sea.

But then I somehow forgot to take any pictures. So there are only pictures of "Malou-without-in-the-sand".
