Sloping position training with our "fat ships". Honestly? Two days before, I couldn't quite sleep, a tiny little fear was constantly rumbling through my stomach. I'm supposed to lean with this big bike? Uiuiui.
The morning started completely unslept, with rain. So it was completely in line with my mood.
To cut a long story short: The full-day leaning course with the Mannhard driving school was a complete success. Okay, at the end of the day I didn't manage to get the footrest to glow, but the before and after pictures clearly show that we both made progress.
The aim was not to kürvelen Tom-Lüthi-like. My mantra for the day was: "Don't compare yourself with the best of the best, compare yourself with yourself the day before the course! And I have to say: I'm happy, grateful, much more confident and I also learned a lot that I didn't even know could play a role in motorcycling. Centrifugal forces, curve lines and tyre pressure-curve contact surface stuff. And: we actually did a full braking in a lean position in a curve. Wow, that was quite an experience.

At this point a huge MERCI to Valentin and Stefano from the Mannhard driving school and to my dear husband, who always encourages me to take a tiny step out of my motorbike comfort zone. Once again it was great fun with you! Like everything with you!
