Great Journey 🏍 Day 405
🇨🇭 Gerd
So, two more days and then I'll be home. I think so. And I'm off. Heavens, this Austria is beautiful. And unfortunately also very cold this morning. 1° Celsius and Malou starts right up! Good girl!
In the morning, we are still having breakfast together, I still remember the long woollen ski pants that Heike forced me to wear ("You never know, it can get cold in the mountains!") and I am glad that I did. My bag is almost empty, I'm wearing all the clothes I have with me.
I still take a few Austrian Alpine passes until the rain or maybe even snow clouds that are on my heels come closer and closer.
And suddenly I'm at the border to Liechtenstein. A little later (no big deal, Liechtenstein isn't that big either) I'm driving on Swiss roads. I click on "home" on my sat nav and see that I could still make it today.
OK, my backside is already hurting a lot. And I don't care about the mountains today. I don't even care about the beautiful Appenzellerland, the enchanting Toggenburgerland or the mild, mountainous Entlebuch. I've already seen them or we can come here later.
So at some point it's good and I roll and roll until finally, after 9 hours and dry, I turn left at Münchenwiler Castle and Heike is already standing at the side of the road waiting for me. I am at home. ️
