Great Journey 🏍 Day 83
Weekly market in Koroni. Once a Sunday, the farmers from the surrounding area come and offer their goods for sale. And people meet here. Since the market takes place on the promenade (which is unfortunately empty at the moment), we just imagine that here and there and there people are normally having a coffee and chatting.
We stroll through the small aisle, there are maybe 10 or 12 traders in total. They all shout and loudly offer the same thing.
A nice change for our contemplative everyday life. And we plan to buy our vegetables for the week here next Sunday. Afterwards, we stroll through the town, meet old acquaintances and make new ones over coffee-to-stand-at-the-door.
At some point we make our way home, while Gerd is a little annoyed that he doesn't have his cat food bag with him.
