🇨🇭> 🇹🇷> 🇬🇪 Gerd
With a stopover in Istanbul (simply enjoying the Turkish language, the smiles, a sip or two of tea), Gerd lands in Tbilisi during the night. He flies over the Alps in beautiful sunny weather and is already looking forward to the journey home through "his" mountain world.
Tbilisi welcomes him with rain. Malou is standing in the hotel courtyard, soaking wet but full of anticipation. She will have to be patient for a while yet, because rain showers en masse are also forecast for tomorrow.
So he has to sleep in, have breakfast with the other hotel guests, get fresh internet and wander through the city during the short breaks in the rain. Now he has to quickly repack the side suitcases (a new sorting system is needed, only one person travelling, half of the luggage and no accompanying wife to destroy the order in the suitcases) and everyone is ready for the start tomorrow morning.
