In the past, when I used to push my 100cc scooter, my Bella, over the hills, my mantra was always, "Bella, you can do it!" Hoping that she would make the climb unscathed and under her own little power.
Today, 1150 cubic metres more, I hear Malou say: "Heike, you can do it!" Sometimes I drive this powerful GS around the bends in first gear, like my leisurely Bella used to. And even on straight stretches I prefer to look left and right and forget that I could actually ride 80. But 50 is fine too, I think.
Dear Malou, I know you are built for other things, please forgive me, but it is so nice to plod along on you through such beautiful landscapes. And I promise you that if I ever get up the nerve, we'll go for a ride. Until then, however, I just know that YOU could do it. I still need some time.
