Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 508/2
In the Museum der Arbeit we somehow missed the work, but just a bridge-walk away we found what gladdened our (okay, probably more my) hearts: the City Museum.

Here we dive into my old professional (occupational?) world. Old spinning machines, looms, textiles up and down. And best of all: here again, everything to touch, to participate in, to feel, to touch, to get to know.

For me, it was somehow a refresher (if you've ever learned to be a tailor, you actually still know a lot of things) and surprising: Gerd was absolutely fascinated.

Our parking ticket was only valid for 2 hours. We quickly extended it! What a great immersion into the world of textile industrialisation.

In Sweden's museums, one thing is not neglected: a look at the present day. Here, too, the reference to fast fashion, far too much for this planet. The request to check exactly what is necessary, what can be repaired or what could be passed on if necessary.

Thoughtful and at the same time mega-impressed, we leave Norrköping. And we're off again: Stockholm is calling us. Gerd hears the call, I'm probably deaf in this ear.
