Great Journey 🏍 Day 322
The days go by, we actually stayed in Cappadocia for a week. The area invites us to explore again and again. We try our hand at selfie-taking (with little success), drink children's sangía and somehow hardly get up from these oriantal mats. So cosy!
We also went to Love-Valley (stupid name, but when you are there you immediately know what is meant!) and we visited Pigeon-Valley and learnt that pigeon shit is very important there for fertilising the fields. So they collect it and spread it on the fields.
The cave buildings with up to 16 floors are quite magical. In past times, only grain and wine was stored there; in tourist times, small boutique hotels are built there.
We ourselves sleep in one of these cave hotels and find that there is a wonderful living climate there. Actually, nothing draws us further, we would love to stay here for days. If it weren't for the longing for other places, for the experiences, for the encounters.
