Big Trip - Little Break🇨🇭 Day 594
Felix got an all-round beauty programme: the stone-chipped windscreen was replaced, the first major service had to be done (turbo help and merci to Auto AG Truck!) and the winter tyres changed for snappy summer ones.
We also turned everything "inside out", washed, cleaned, scrubbed and used mum's washing machine for a whole day.
Then we went on to Konolfingen to Steiners Wohnmobile to change the toilet. We now have a dry separation toilet on board, an outhouse in modern. After 2 weeks we are more than satisfied. So now the business is separated and we 1. no longer have to look for disposal stations where we can dispose of the chemical slop and 2. no longer have to empty the waste-holding tank. The new solution allows us to travel much more relaxed. Special thanks to Michu von Steiners and Reto @freedom.to.go !
Oh, then of course we were still at work, Gerd even in the office (and me too, I just sat down at an empty desk and even had an Easter bunny on the desk for Easter, integration works perfectly here!) Gerd wanted to see how his colleagues were doing and whether all the WLAN cables were still in place. He still enjoys his work. It doesn't matter whether he's on the road or on site.
When we had pretty much "pulled through" the first week, it was time for a little break. We wanted 4 days of rest in the mountains. No kilometres, no metres of walking. Read books and knit jumpers. Looking into the mountains. Arrive. And that's exactly what we did in Beatenberg on the Niederhorn, with an impressive view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. But more about that later.
Learning of the Day: Putting chocolate eggs in your Easter basket is not the best idea in a sunlit van! Solution: food or fridge. Is it clear what we have chosen?
