Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 510
Another first time! We set up camp on a campsite in the middle of Stockholm.
Plug Felix into the shore power (that's what they say among professionals!), take a shower in the spacious, heated and with endless hot water campsite shower instead of our home and are now ready for the city.
The first route takes us in icy wind through the district of Södermalm, or as connoisseurs say, Söder. (Huiuiui). That's not difficult either, because we camp right in the middle of it.
We try to find our way around and get miserably lost. Eventually we find ourselves in front of a Vapiano and a Burger King. That must be City, probably even Central Station. And that's exactly how it is, finally someone bravely takes off a glove and looks to see where we actually are.
Oh, it's not far to our recommended confectionery Vete Katten, THE café in Stockholm. Here we warm body and soul with lots of hot chocolate, one or/and other sweet pastries. And the best part: watching the people.
The older lady who doesn't take off her crocheted hat because of the elegance. The young women with their kids, lapping up creamy Semla, and the business people who mix pleasure and work to achieve success (hopefully). And in between: us. Happy. Warmed up. Full and a little bit crumpled.
