Great Journey 🏍 Day 323
"Do we still have time for a shortcut?" is the question today and we both have to laugh in our helmets, we learned the phrase in Koroni from Barbara and Robert (who I think also just borrowed it).
Of course: after the double breakfast portion, we turn off the main road and drive into the mountains, with bumpy roads and gravel beckoning us. We have made sure we have the right live weight.
A dreamlike scenery awaits us, we meander up and down, here a small river, there a small lake. We want to take a break at a nice spot, stretch our legs and put our feet in the water. (Are there actually Enduro boots with AirCon?)
We find it very romantic that a small family is unpacking their barbecue. Little do we know that our gluttony is about to continue. No sooner have we cooled down than there is a plate full of food on our table, Coke and water are poured, melon is brought for dessert. So we spend a nice time at this little river in the best company with the family.
At some point we are drawn further, such "little shortcuts" usually have it in them. We find a nice room in a castle in Kozan, shower with the garden hose because we don't understand the shower system in the bathroom and fall asleep on the spot without any dinner.
