Great Journey 🇳🇴 Day 560/2
Since Vega is so huge with its 15 x 15 kilometres, we travel around the island once the same day. We think. Unfortunately, this is only possible by kayak or hiking boot.
So we drive back to the start and now take the other road to explore the south of the really beautiful island. As it is Sunday, there is a lot going on. We see two families picnicking on the beach and another two tourists hiking.
We leave Felix at the end of the road and stroll along the shore, collect new ideas on the beach and, as the saying goes, relax.
There's really nothing going on here. Nothing at all. And that is precisely what makes it so special. We feel a silence that we rarely experience in this way. The weather is great, spring is approaching. The eyes can rest somehow.
And Gerd complains about a bit of sore muscles.

Hi Renate, I would always take snow chains, sometimes they help for more traction in the wet. The roads themselves are tiptop. But winter can always come, see currently in Germany 😉
