I would like to sing a song: "Every year again!".
For 8 years we have been going hiking (or something like that) with a lovely group from our publishing world. We spend very valuable time together and the best thing is that the organisation is always done by someone else from the group. This time we went to the Bergisches Land.
Funny thing: we didn't discover any real mountains. But immediately (as I was once again too quick to blaspheme) I was enlightened by my motorcycle-loving neighbour: the name comes from the Count of Berg, who in turn was actually called "de Monte", which no one on the Wupper wanted to pronounce, so it was translated into "Berg" without further ado.
Our agenda promises that we will visit the castle in a few days. I'm looking forward to it, I love these old walls with so much history. I'll tell you this much: it's going to be brilliant.
