The season is open. From now on, it's back to the snow-covered mountains. Our motorbikes are in winter wellness and are dry and warm and in good company at the dealer we trust. (By the way, at the beginning of January we will learn there how to get the machines running, we are curious). The weather forecast predicted lots of snow and sun. Okay, it was absolutely right. Let's get out and up into the mountains. Actually, the season hasn't started yet, but my favourite resort had brought the gondolas out of mid-season retirement for the weekend, the mountain restaurant had "ussegstuelet" the terrace and we had enough seats to "sünnele". And at some point we were even solar-fuelled enough to simply trudge through the snow and experience a truly dreamy winter hiking sunny day.
Warning: Winter here in the mountains is beautiful, so beautiful in fact, that we have to-want-to-go-up every spare minute. So if these magical, delightful, sunny winter-snow pictures are too much for you, tune in again in April when it's time for spring and the motorbikes to roll... Until then: Yippee, winter is one of the four most beautiful seasons!
