Great Journey 🏍🏍 Day 28
We drive - actually a bit of a shame - very fast through Austria. Down in Carinthia, the weather map shows temperatures in the double digits and a few sunshine hours per day.
We take to the beautiful roads that bring us to Carinthia.
Beautiful memories come back, 14 years ago I was here for the first (and so far the only) time. Back then with the kids, God, they were so small. And the football gods (and those who wanted to be) were playing some fairytale in Germany. And we were in Austria and later in Croatia on a campsite between Italians, French, Germans and Dutch "cheering along". And, by the way, all those present (m) were better coaches than the one who holds the official post and coaches the national team.
But who won back then, I had to google now, it never really interested me.
Oh, Carinthia: the snow has disappeared, but there's still a bit of it lying around on the mountain tops, looking pretty in the photos. The sun is already low and we find our airbnb, which, seen from close up, would also pass as an establishment that can be rented out by the hour. We pay little. Very little. For the whole night. And actually sleep wonderfully!
