Great Journey 🇳🇴 Day 564
We heat up on the E6. In Norway, when you talk about "heating up", you mean between 70 and 90 km/h. And since speeding could be painful in the rice budget, we try to drive properly. And since speeding could be painful in the rice box, we try to drive properly. We make a bit of distance, bypassing a lot of nature parks and travel beauty spots.
We were in the south of Norway two or three years ago, immediately fell in love with the area and the country and knew we would be back. This time we decide - not entirely happy about it - to skip the south and only make a small stop in Lillehammer.
This sweet Olympic city had already made it into our hearts in 2019. This time we forgo visiting all the museums and exhibitions and stroll through the old town. We take a look at the famous ski jump and actually find a parking space directly under the ski jump with a dream view of Lillehammer at night.
OK, in the morning there is thick fog on the mountain, we can't even see as far as the road. So be it: we enjoy a leisurely breakfast and set off in the direction of Oslo. The E6, our "fast" road, is already calling!
