Short trip to Hamburg - and all because I forgot that it was a public holiday in Hanover today.
The evening before I was able to relax at a St. Pauli game ("we" lost) and I wanted to enjoy the sunny Thursday in Hamburg. The small cold that was developing really felt at home in the stadium and turned into a big one overnight. No sunny Hamburg, no working as a digital nomad. Frühmi, tea, sofa, nice conversations and a bowl full of sweets (were they for Helloween?) are probably still the best remedies.
Now we're going home and I'm already looking forward to the best "make-it-hot" man in the world.
A huge thank you goes to Rainer and his family, who took me to the stadium, showed me the St. Pauli spirit and took me in as a sofa guest. It was wonderful with you!
