Sometimes it's fascinating how many emotions fit into one weekend.
I was in Berlin with family and friends. First I was allowed to accompany my godchild to the school launch party (wow, what an experience for child and parents!) and then I went to mum's house. Here we had childhood memories from the kitchen: yeast dumplings with blueberry sauce. I haven't eaten that for years. And it was so so nice! The hours with mum, the sun on the balcony, the big tummy after far too many dumplings (just like before!) and this "being at home" I have now stored deep inside me.
