There are people who don't like shopping, strolling, shopping, strolling and strolling through the city. I am absolutely one of them. And then there are people who "surf" through the pre-Christmas stress. Okay, I'm a little bit one of those too. But what I really love are trains and train stations on the weekend before Christmas. I suspect there are surprises in all the suitcases. In the faces I see anticipation of the days off, of family and friends, of good food and togetherness. For once a year, somehow a magic seems to come over people. And: I love to be infected. I love this time. A time to pause. Time of togetherness. Time of mindfulness and appreciation. And for those of you who are still stressed out, let me tell you that the world keeps turning even without home-made stress and anger. So breathe in, breathe out, let go!

Where. Here: Christkindlimarkt
