Gerd is healthy again. One day of sleep and he is fit again. That's how we both like it.
We drive on, wanting to see the beautiful Ring of KerryThe road around the peninsula is still quite a sight to see. However, we don't like it at all. There are coaches everywhere. The cafés at beautiful vantage points are unrestrainedly crowded.
Change of plan:
1. look for a rubbish bin. The rubbish is a real problem here, there is no public waste disposal and no rubbish bins anywhere. Our last solution: dispose of it in small portions at supermarkets or petrol stations and buy waste-reduced when shopping.
2. dispose of waste water
3. fill up with fresh water
4. fill the refrigerator
The combination of fridge and fresh water works best. At a supermarket with an adjacent café, I discover a garden hose for watering flowers. We buy some and a little later I ask if I could tap a little water. How much? Well, just a camper's load. Of course, that's no problem.
When I ask what I can pay, the friendly saleswoman shakes her head. No, that's all right. On my way out, however, I see a small piggy bank, apparently the tip box. A few coins go into the box and she smiles!
Thank you, thank you!
