The coming days will be quieterWe are looking for a nice place and nature, with good internet. Because: our working days are knocking at the door.
So on Sunday afternoon we drive to the Snowdonia National Park and already in the first little corner we are thrilled. Here a small river, there a cute little town.
Felix kürvelet up and down the mountain passes in roads that were far too narrow for me. Only to climb the next mountain straight away.
At the top of a pass we meet a Painter sitting calmly in his camping chair and we strike up a conversation. No, he's not drawing Snowdon, the mountain of this area. He's drawing the Matterhorn. Aha.
Together we realise that the world is beautiful everywhere, if you only want to see it. And ask ourselves once again why in God's name we actually left Switzerland when it is so beautiful.
The painter chats and visibly enjoys himself. He himself is just as much a restless spirit, a traveller, a curious person. We ask him why he is here. Yes, it's one of those things. He simply likes it here, it is beautiful. The people are friendly. Because if there is one thing he has learned: People are good all over the world. You can find the systems, the governments, the economy or even the social "constructs", as he calls them, good or bad. But man in himself wants to be loved everywhere in the world, feels joy in kindness and likes to give to strangers.
Since he is chatting so nicely and we have more than enough time, we ask him about Brexit. He rolls his eyes, as does everyone else we ask. When we ask him why we can't find anyone who can explain to us what's good about Brexit, he shrugs and says, perhaps a little too succinctly, "You won't meet the Brexit supporters on your travels, they're somewhere else.
Okay, that doesn't help us, but it confirms our little perceived truth. That people somehow feel cheated by the political vote-rigging and decisions.
Thunderclouds roll over the Snowdon and it starts to rumble, we say goodbye to our new acquaintance and roll on, only to set up camp a little later at a lake for the next few days.
Merci for "travelling with us

Such beautiful pictures again. ❤️
I would like to comment on some of them. 😁😇
Good luck working on such a beautiful place. 👍
Regarding Switzerland and that it is also beautiful there.....
Schdüüümmmd!
But the world is big and everywhere looks a little different.
Everywhere is beautiful in a different way. 🤷
I also travelled a lot and always said:
I save the nearby countries for my old age, when I don't want to travel so far.
That was a very good decision. 👍
I don't want to fly any more and certainly not that far away.
Switzerland is easy for me to reach and even easier for you to explore.
This would then even be possible on foot or by bike. 👍😉
Have a wonderful day.
Kind regards from Racheli
Good morning, dear!
Yes, travelling far when you're young is really a good idea. Unfortunately, the idea comes too late for me and I will probably want to travel further a few more times.
Let's see what time brings!
Kind regards - Heike
