Scotland - Cooking course de luxe

great journey 🏴 day 6842 welcome to inspiration freestyle without right

Welcome to the Inspiration-Freestyle-Without-Right-Ingredients-Cooking-Course á la Leben Pur!

Take:
A trip to the most boring National Trust highlight ever.
🥱 Boredom and a pinch of tiredness (after tired comes stupid!).
Hunger, or is it appetite?

We walk through the unkempt garden, look at this pineapple-shaped roof construction and ask ourselves in all seriousness why we are rumbling for kilometres through potholes to look at this "thing" here, in the middle of nowhere.

Because we can't come up with any clever answers, we think about what a pineapple in Scotland could do. We quickly have an idea: it could turn a pizza into a Hawaiian pizza or, even better (in the absence of an oven!), turn an ordinary toast into a Hawaiian toast.

A can of pineapple is quickly bought. And neither of us can remember the last time we bought canned pineapple. It must have been decades ago!

Later, in the van, we notice the following:
We have no toast.
We also don't have any ham, as we're more of a veggie crowd.
🧀 Okay, cheese, we think so.

So we make a pomfortous dinner out of stale bread, a veggie chorizo variation and tinned pineapple. And we also take care of the healthy food: all the tomatoes we can still find decorate the plate. And finally, the children's classic, ketchup is added to the pineapple hole, of course.

Merci for "travelling with us

We are thinking about taking another break from travelling in the summer and visiting our families in Germany and Switzerland. One of the ideas is to organise a Lecture about our long journey to the Persian Gulf to prepare. If you would like to, what would interest you the most? We will also tell stories here that don't find a place here on the blog. We're thinking of the Bern and Berlin area - simply because we have family there. But other places are also conceivable. Feel free to write to us.

Do you think our travel experiences might be of interest to others? Then you can share the Share post quietly. By e-mail or however you want to do it.

In addition, if you haven't already done so, you can use our Newsletter subscribe. Here you will receive all our experiences in your mailbox whenever we publish something new or once a week on Fridays: live-pur.ch/newsletter

We are also very happy to hear your views, your tips or your questions. Just comment on the post!
