While we are on the subject of markets: We visit a floating market outside Bangkok. First we take a boat through the canals, I feel like I'm in the Spreewald. Okay, they don't have palm trees there. And more mosquitoes, I think I remember. Only the motors are huge, nothing to do with paddling or paddling. Then we reach the market. It is interesting that the market is not the place of action, but the traders. They drive through the canals, ringing here, shouting there, and whenever someone wants noodle soup, vegetables, fruit or coconut ice cream, they step in front of their door, wave and the respective trader stops and business proceeds. Delivery service at its best. Every day. It doesn't get any fresher than this. And we, for once, in the middle of it all. And: with our daughter. There is a breeze on the boat and we let a really competent Thai woman introduce us to the secrets of the market. #floatingmarket #thailand #damnoemsaduak Leben pur!
