Living in the moment is what travelling is all about for us. We wonder what it's like for people in the mountain regions. Those who have never travelled. What wishes do they have? Have they ever thought about having a fulfilling life? What does it take to be happy? - - We are just passing through here, looking and contemplating. We can't immerse ourselves in this short time. And yet I would love to know. To ask questions. Get answers. But that requires language skills. An interpreter. - I wonder what it's like to learn a language in order to understand the tourists. Learning the language of those who have been bombing the country every 9 minutes for almost a decade. If there was an aversion to English, I would understand. And yet: I wish and hope that the wounds will heal, that the unifying power of language, be it English, will bring hearts together again. - - Especially in times when people all over the world are trying to reinforce the idea that they are the best, it is probably the order of the day to realise that people live and love everywhere, no matter where. They have to endure pain and suffering. A quote from Oscar Wild comes to mind here: "Travelling ennobles the spirit and clears away our prejudices." So: let's look into our hearts again, not just at the surface! - - #immoment #wasistglück Leben pur! Oh yes, you two, you speak straight from my heart, dear Heike -
Such thoughts also come to me when I look at your pictures and think of Jens Henny in this country and see a small part of it in your photos.... I am looking forward to more from you and wish you all the love for your further journey - your Babsi from Petershagen
