Pure adrenaline. At the beginning of our tour, I had thought that the roads in the south were better, but at a former bridge I was proven wrong. Back story: Heike is hungry, tired, has been riding a 100cc Honda in the blazing sun for what feels like an eternity. Then this: bridge broken. But that doesn't mean it won't be used. I tell you: I was dying of fear. The Laotians drive across, Gerd drives (and tells me in the evening that he too had terrible respect) and then me. While I'm driving like this, I just think: look ahead, don't look down, don't think about the possible disaster. Look ahead. Look ahead. And again, everything will be fine... after that, my nerves were on edge and it's only over a coffee at Mr Vieng's that the stress falls away from me. (See picture In the hammock) We wanted adventure, but somehow we didn't... #guardian angel #thank you #thank you #thank you
