Norway Tour ?? Day 15
Because it's so beautiful up here in Geilo, we go for a little drive to explore the area. Actually we wanted to go hiking, but unfortunately it's raining (and yes, it's snowing, it's 2° degrees in the morning) and we wrap ourselves up in our wind-and-weather-bike-clothes and drive off. At some point, the paved road comes to an end and only gravel allows us to continue. I admit it: I am absolutely inexperienced in gravel roads. (If I leave Laos out of it) For me, this was a bit of a challenge. Uneven road, 2° degrees and rain whipping from the side with heavy wind. After the tour I felt really good - once again a little bit out of my comfort zone.
That nature is beautiful up in the Prestholt is obvious, isn't it? The bright autumn colours of the mosses mix with the brave green of the juniper bushes. The view stretches for miles and a feeling of great freedom sets in.
My thoughts wander into the future, how it will feel to drive aimlessly and without a plan through the countries of this world?
