If you don't come to the shop, the shop will come to you. While in Greece the post office and apparently all parcel services have just gone to their knees, the mobile clothes shop strolls loudly through the small villages.
The loudspeakers - really unmistakably "loud" - roar through the village. Instead of shop windows, the clothes for sale swing cheerfully on the tailgate. The sliding doors open on both sides, making it easy for motorcyclists to "shop" while passing by, as is modern today.
So while we ride through the mountain villages, I'm glad to have the camera right at hand as a pillion passenger again. And no, we haven't bought anything from the flying shirt shop. We still only have 3 motorbike cases (much too small for our standards) and the luggage to be stowed is still tight. How often have I dreamed of an Hermione Granger handbag...?
