In search of a map of Armenia and Azerbaijan, we pass this bookshop. The word bookshop suggests that there is trade here.
After lingering there for a while, we rather think that it is a book collection. Because no one is interested in trading - i.e. selling - here.
The bookseller reads news on the internet, lets us dive into his "system", I rummage through German and Russian travel guides from before 1991 and Gerd cuddles with the book cat.
We love places like this. Unfortunately, we don't find anything, all the books that seem exciting are in Russian or Georgian and we are a bit afraid that one or the other pile of books will simply fall towards us and we will be buried under the antiquarian bookstore mountains for ever and ever and then no rescue unit would ever suspect and rescue us under Stalin biographies, "Leipzig in colour" and "Pregnant over 30" guidebooks.
