We hike with our mum for her 75th birthday from Charmey to Broc through the Jaunbach Gorge and experience a dreamlike hike

In this episode we take you on a wonderful day hike in the Fribourg countryside. Including getting lost once. Once again. That seems to be my core competence. 

Our hike started in Broc, where we boarded the bus and drove to Charmey. 

In Charmey we set off, up and down along the river and past the dam wall. Over a suspension bridge (Gerd reveals his fear trick!) and then further along the gorge. 

We were gifted with a dreamlike landscape. 

The destination of this hike was then Broc, where we had parked. We spent the sunny evening in Gruyères, a sugary little town high on a mountain. 

But see and hear for yourself, we have tried to put our impressions into words.
